Ron Somogyi

Dr. Ron Somogyi is a Toronto-based plastic surgeon, having trained at the University of Toronto in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery then completing 2 fellowships in Melbourne, Australia. 

Dr. Somogyi has been on full time staff at North York General Hospital since 2014 and is active academically as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery at The University of Toronto.

He looks after his patients through his practice at Form Face & Body.

Dr. Somogyi maintains an active research interest in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, particularly in the area of breast surgery and body contouring, and has recently published journal articles and speaks regularly on these topics. His current focus is on improving patient outcomes in Body Contouring After Massive Weight Loss. His passion is providing holistic care to patients that includes effective pre-surgical education, a comfortable surgical experience and multidisciplinary post-surgical care to achieve optimal results.

Dr. Waqqas Jalil MD FRCSC

Dr. Jalil embarked on his medical journey at the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in health sciences and gaining early acceptance into medical school after just two years. With a penchant for surgery, he honed his skills during a rigorous plastic surgery residency at the University of Manitoba, fostering a passion for Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgery. Graduating with honors in 2011, he furthered his expertise with a coveted fellowship at Lenox Hill/MEETH hospital in New York City, refining novel procedures under the guidance of renowned plastic surgeons.

Returning to Canada, Dr. Jalil joined North York General Hospital in Toronto, where he practices Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. At FORM Face and Body, Dr. Jalil has built a practice focused on excellent patient care and outstanding results. Dr. Jalil, a member of international surgical societies, remains committed to ongoing education, teaching, and clinical research at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Michael Brandt MD MSc FRCSC

Dr. Michael Brandt is a distinguished head and neck surgeon specializing in facial aesthetics and reconstruction. A top graduate from York University, he pursued his medical education at Western University's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Brandt completed a unique five-year residency in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Western, integrating specialized training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. During this period, he published over 20 research manuscripts and became the first Canadian to receive the Ben Shuster Memorial Award.

Passionate about facial plastic surgery, particularly in camouflaging scars and reconstructing faces after skin cancer surgery, Dr. Brandt earned a top international fellowship at the University of Michigan. He is among the few Canadian surgeons certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Brandt's profound knowledge of head and neck anatomy and facial aesthetics, combined with advanced techniques, reflects his commitment to delivering timeless, natural results. He prioritizes personalized care for each patient.
